Job summary

Sportradar in Vienna is seeking a Senior Accountant for Capitalized Software to own end-to-end accounting for internally developed software, ensuring IFRS and SOX controls. You will work with FP&A, the Data Office and Engineering to drive process improvements and maintain accurate capitalization records.

The role requires a 5+ year track record in accounting/finance, a Bachelor’s degree, and fluency in English. This is an on-site position with close collaboration across global teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• 5+ years in accounting/finance roles, preferably in a listed company.
• Experience designing, implementing and documenting policies, controls and procedures.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS/GAAP, IAS 38, and SOX controls.
• Proficient with MS Office, especially Excel.

Responsibilities

• Capitalization assessment for internal software projects under IAS 38.
• Prepare and post capitalization journals and related accruals.
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts and monitor capitalization extensions.
• Determine useful lives and impairment considerations for software assets.
• Support annual disclosures and audits; maintain SOX documentation.
