Job summary

Sportradar is seeking a Finance professional to own end-to-end accounting for sports rights and leases under IFRS and SOX. You’ll handle operational accounting, data maintenance, monthly reporting, reconciliations, and process improvements, collaborating with FP&A, Partnerships, and Corporate Systems.

The role emphasizes close collaboration across teams, with a focus on accuracy, governance, and timely month-end deliverables.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or a related field.
• 3+ years in accounting or a similar financial position.
• Hands-on operational accounting experience and ERP proficiency.
• Strong understanding of GAAP/IFRS; practical knowledge of IFRS 16 Leases and IAS 38 Intangible Assets is a strong plus.
• Experience with net present value and discounted cash flow calculations is desirable.
• Fluent English (at least B2/C1).

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze sports rights and lease contracts for accounting treatment.
• Perform data entries, postings, reconciliations and schedules for contracts.
• Maintain detailed records of rights, leases, payments and related calculations.
• Support the monthly, quarterly and annual close for sports rights and leases.
• Prepare accruals, prepayments, amortization schedules, and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Perform NPV and discounted cash flow calculations for license payments.
• Support SOX, GAAP/IFRS reporting and audit documentation.
• Identify process improvements and automate contract review and reporting.
