Zusammenfassung

Valneva SE is seeking a Sample Management Expert (m/f/d) to join our Quality Control team in Vienna. You will coordinate incoming client and OMCL samples, in-house stability samples, reference and retention samples, and external testing laboratories, ensuring GMP-compliant documentation and accurate sample tracking.

The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s degree in a scientific field, is fluent in German and English, and has a solid grasp of quality systems and GxP.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant scientific field is required.
• Basic knowledge of quality systems and GxP requirements (GMP, GCLP).
• Strong organizational, documentation management, and teamwork skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and structured approach to documentation and data.
• Proactive, accurate, and reliable working style with a strong sense of responsibility.
• Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
• Fluent in German and English (written and spoken).
• Willingness to work in a regulated, quality-driven environment.

Aufgaben

• Manage and coordinate incoming client and OMCL samples, including testing schedules, documentation, and communication with stakeholders.
• Manage in-house stability samples, including maintaining documented overviews and coordinating testing schedules.
• Oversee reference and retention samples, maintaining inventories and coordinating visual examinations.
• Coordinate activities with external testing laboratories, including timelines, agreements, and required documentation.
• Prepare, review, and maintain GMP-relevant documentation.
• Ensure accurate and timely sample tracking and documentation throughout the lifecycle.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of sample management processes and workflows.
• Support Lab Support Team with equipment-related activities and qualification/lifecycle management.
• Provide support during annual shutdown activities.
