Valneva Austria GmbH is seeking an experienced Deputy Head of Facility Management to support the Head of FM in ensuring reliable, compliant and efficient engineering and facility operations at our Austrian site.

You will lead FM operations, coordinate GMP training and deviations, oversee maintenance and EHS activities, and collaborate with R&D and SG&A to deliver FM reporting and improvements. Strong GMP, FDA/EMEA knowledge and German/English skills are essential.

Formación

• Technical education HTL level or higher, focusing on Electrical Engineering, HVAC/Building Services Engineering, Facility Management.
• Proven experience in Facility Management and GMP-regulated environments, preferably pharma/biotech.
• Hands-on with strong technical understanding of facility operations.
• Experience in FDA- and EMEA-regulated environments.
• Experience in project management and cross-functional coordination.
• Knowledge of HVAC systems and electrical infrastructure; ability to read P&IDs.
• Strong organizational, communication and problem-solving skills; self-directed.
• Very good German and English skills.
• MS Office proficiency.

Responsabilidades

• Act as deputy to the Head of FM and ensure continuity of FM operations during their absence, including coordination of the FM team.
• Ensure engineering and facility activities meet GMP, EMEA and FDA requirements as well as site and business objectives.
• Coordinate GMP training, deviations, CAPAs and change controls within Facility Management.
• Maintain responsibility for selected FM SOPs and equipment.
• Plan, coordinate and oversee maintenance, calibration and EHS-related activities in GMP-regulated areas with internal teams and external service providers.
• Coordinate facility repairs, improvement projects and other FM initiatives.
• Support the operation, maintenance and continuous improvement of building systems.
• Support cross-functional collaboration with R&D and SG&A and provide FM reporting.
