Zusammenfassung

Valneva is seeking a Sample Management Expert (m/f/d) to join our Quality Control team in Austria. You will coordinate samples, stability activities and GMP documentation, liaising with clients, OMCLs and external testing laboratories.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a scientific field, knowledge of GMP/GxP, strong organizational skills and fluent German and English. You will support equipment qualification and provide back-up during shutdowns.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant scientific field.
• Basic knowledge of quality systems and GxP requirements (GMP, GCLP).
• Good knowledge of MS Office.
• Strong organizational, documentation management and teamwork skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and a structured approach to managing documentation and data.
• Proactive, accurate and reliable working style with a strong sense of responsibility.
• Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
• Fluent in German and English, written and spoken.

Aufgaben

• Coordinate incoming client and OMCL samples, testing schedules, documentation and stakeholder communication.
• Manage in-house stability samples and testing schedules.
• Oversee reference and retention samples with inventories and documentation.
• Coordinate activities with external testing laboratories and documentation.
• Prepare, review and maintain GMP/GxP documentation.
• Ensure accurate sample tracking throughout the lifecycle and improve processes.
• Support Lab Support Team with equipment-related activities and storage overviews.
• Assist with equipment qualification and lifecycle management.
• Provide back-up during annual shutdown activities.
• Collaborate with stakeholders for smooth, compliant laboratory operations.
