Job summary

Avantor, including VWR, is seeking a Product Sales Support Specialist to provide technical and commercial support from a remote home office in Slovenia. The role focuses on responding to product questions, preparing quotations, and driving the assigned portfolio with a proactive, customer-centric approach.

Requirements include fluent English and Slovenian, a bachelor’s degree or higher (chemistry/biochem or lab products preferred), SAP experience, and strong MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• Business-level English and Slovenian required.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher; chemistry/biochemistry or lab product knowledge preferred.
• Experience in sales, product support, or customer-facing roles.
• Experience with SAP is mandatory; other ERP/CRM knowledge is a plus.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Provide product and technical support to customers and colleagues.
• Prepare, coordinate, and follow up on quotations.
• Proactively sell the assigned product portfolio.
• Cross-sell products from other lines.
• Manage customer complaints per procedures.
• Update product information in ERP.
• Monitor product portfolio using Qlik View.
• Collaborate with local, regional, and European colleagues.
