Job summary

Leica Microsystems, a Danaher company, seeks an Advanced Workflow Specialist for Electron Microscopy Sample Preparation. This remote role supports pre-sales and post-sales activities across the EMEA region, delivering expert demonstrations, trainings, and workflow optimization.

You will bridge customers with Sales, Product Management, and R&D, contributing to adoption of advanced workflows and growth across EMEA. Regular travel is required, up to 40-50% of time.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree (MSc or PhD) in Life Sciences, Materials Science, or a related scientific discipline.
• Hands-on experience with electron microscopy sample preparation techniques (e.g., cryo-EM, CLEM, ultramicrotomy, coating, freeze-fracture).
• Ability and willingness to travel frequently across the EMEA region.
• Proficiency in English (technical and conversational); German is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Deliver pre-sales and post-sales application support, including on-site and virtual demonstrations, trainings, and workflow optimization.
• Plan, execute, and support customer workshops, seminars, and advanced application sessions on EM sample prep workflows.
• Support marketing initiatives with scientific content for webinars, conferences, and materials.
• Develop application data, success stories, and reference workflows for the commercial org.
• Document customer activities, demos, and trainings in CRM systems such as SFDC.
