Job summary

Jobgether SRL is seeking a Technical Support Engineer based in Austria to own customer-impacting incidents end-to-end and drive resolutions for a cloud-commerce platform serving large service providers.

You will work with Linux, networking, databases, and APIs, collaborating with developers and account managers. This remote-first, AI-enabled role offers ownership, learning, and an opportunity to improve customer experience at scale.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/Engineering or related field with 3+ years in tech/support.
• Hands-on Linux administration, especially CentOS and/or RHEL.
• Strong TCP/IP, routing, subnetting, and general networking knowledge.
• SQL skills with PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Oracle.
• Experience with REST/SOAP APIs and JSON/XML. OAuth/SAML knowledge a plus.
• Infra/web hosting experience and ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
• Excellent written and spoken English; able to explain technical topics clearly.

Responsibilities

• Own technical support tickets end-to-end from investigation to resolution.
• Provide guidance on product functionality, configuration, and best practices.
• Diagnose issues using Linux, logs, networking, databases, and APIs.
• Communicate updates timely in line with SLAs and quality standards.
• Collaborate with developers, product teams, and account managers to resolve issues.
• Maintain detailed ticket records and create knowledge-base content.
• Stay current with platform tech and tooling; contribute to process improvements.
• Explore AI tools to improve troubleshooting, automation, and docs.
