Takeda in Vienna seeks a Plant Engineering Lead to provide strategic and operational leadership for the local Plant Engineering organization, ensuring engineering excellence and sustainable manufacturing performance. You will collaborate with the Head of Process Engineering and global teams to drive technology improvements, investment strategies, and CO2 reduction initiatives.

Competenze

• University degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Process, Electrical, Plant Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• Significant professional experience in plant engineering, process engineering, or technical operations in a complex manufacturing environment (pharma/Life Sciences preferred).
• Proven experience leading and developing multidisciplinary engineering teams with technical direction and performance management.
• Strong expertise in plant utilities, mechanical systems, HVAC, process equipment, maintenance engineering and equipment reliability.
• Solid understanding of GMP, ATEX and environmental compliance in regulated manufacturing.
• Experience in CAPEX planning, investment justification, budget management, TCO analysis and project governance.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication and leadership skills with cross-functional influence.

• Own CAPEX investment cases including TCO assessments and process modeling.

• Handle system ownership of plant utilities and provide advanced troubleshooting support.
