Zusammenfassung

Lam Research is seeking a Facilities Engineer in Austria to plan and oversee facility changes for plant and production equipment layouts. You will work with architects to develop criteria, prepare contracts, and ensure adherence to specifications and schedules.

The role combines strategic planning with hands-on support across maintenance and fleet management. You will define performance specifications, inspect installations, and coordinate with engineering teams.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field; 8+ years of experience, or 6+ years with a Master's.
• Proven experience in maintenance planning, coordination, and implementation.
• Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken.

Aufgaben

• Plan facilities changes for plant, office, and production equipment layouts to optimize operation and compliance.
• Coordinate with architecture/engineering firms to develop design criteria and prepare layouts.
• Prepare bid sheets and contracts for construction and facilities acquisition.
• Review and estimate design costs including equipment, installation, labor, and materials.
• Inspect construction progress for conformance to drawings, specs, and schedules.
• Develop criteria and performance specs to meet operating requirements and safety codes.
• Plan and implement maintenance strategies and manage fleet-related tasks.
