Job summary

Alpega Group is seeking an HR Operations Specialist for a fixed-term maternity leave replacement in Vienna. The role covers payroll, HR operations, onboarding, and employee lifecycle tasks across multiple European countries, ensuring compliant, accurate data and efficient processes.

Ideal candidates have 2–4 years in payroll/HR operations, experience with HRIS and external payroll providers, and strong German and English language skills.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in payroll or HR Operations, ideally across more than one European country.
• Working knowledge of payroll processes and local compliance basics.
• Experience working with external payroll providers.
• Confidential handling of employee information with discretion.

Responsibilities

• Manage HR operations across the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, changes, and exits.
• Coordinate onboarding and offboarding activities and ensure accuracy and timeliness.
• Maintain up‑to‑date employee records and documentation.
• Respond to HR process questions from employees and managers.
