Zusammenfassung

Hyundai GLOVIS is seeking a Sales Specialist for Hungary & Austria to drive new business and strengthen customer relationships across Road, Ocean, Air, and Rail logistics. You will manage opportunities from prospecting to closing with support from Tender Management, Product Management, Operations, and Finance.

The role requires sales experience in logistics, excellent negotiation skills, and fluency in Hungarian, German, and English. Willingness to travel across Europe is expected.

Qualifikationen

• Proven experience in Sales, Business Development, Account Management, Customer Service, or Operations in logistics or freight forwarding.
• Commercial confidence with interest in winning new customers and building long-term relationships.
• Strong understanding of international transportation and supply chain solutions across Road, Ocean, Air, or Rail.

Aufgaben

• Identify and develop new business opportunities in Hungary and Austria.
• Build and maintain relationships with new and existing customers.
• Manage sales opportunities from initial contact through quotation, negotiation, and closing.
• Understand customer requirements and develop suitable logistics solutions with internal teams.
• Participate in RFQs and tenders and support pricing and margin management.
• Conduct customer meetings, presentations, and commercial negotiations.
• Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities.
• Maintain the sales pipeline, activities, forecasts, and results in the CRM system.
• Represent Hyundai GLOVIS at customer visits, trade fairs, and networking events.

Your mission

As ourSales Specialist Hungary & Austria, you will develop new business opportunities and strengthen our customer relationships across both markets.
You will manage the sales process from prospecting and understanding customer needs to developing logistics solutions, preparing quotations, and negotiating commercial agreements. In close cooperation with Tender Management, Product Management, Operations, and Finance, you will offer customer-focused solutions across Road, Ocean, Air, and Rail transport.
With your commercial mindset and understanding of the Hungarian and Austrian markets, you will contribute directly to sustainable business growth and position Hyundai GLOVIS as a trusted logistics partner.

Your profile

What you bring

• Professional experience in Sales, Business Development, Account Management, Customer Service, or Operations, ideally within logistics or freight forwarding
• Commercial confidence and a genuine interest in winning new customers and developing long-term business relationships
• Good understanding of international transportation and supply chain solutions across Road, Ocean, Air, or Rail
• Experience with customer inquiries, quotations, RFQs, tenders, or contract negotiations
• Strong communication and presentation skills with a professional and customer-oriented approach
• A proactive, structured, and independent working style
• Confidence using Microsoft Office and CRM systems
• Fluent Hungarian, German, and English, both written and spoken
• Other language skills are a strong advantage
• A degree or comparable qualification in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, International Business, or a related field
• Willingness to travel within Hungary and Austria and occasionally within Europe

• Travel regularly within Hungary and Austria and occasionally within Europe
