Drees & Sommer Österreich is seeking a Construction Manager to lead a complex datacenter project on-site in Kronstorf, Austria. You will collaborate with clients, project teams, contractors and stakeholders to ensure safety, schedule, budget, and quality targets are met.

Your role covers multiple focus areas including Building & Process Automation, Electrical/Mechanical services, and construction logistics, with strong emphasis on risk management and team leadership.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Building Services Engineering, Architecture, Process Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a comparable technical qualification
• Several years of experience in construction management, site supervision, project management, or industrial construction projects
• Experience with multidisciplinary project teams and external contractors
• Strong understanding of construction processes, project controls, and stakeholder management
• Structured, proactive, and solution-oriented working style
• Strong communication, leadership, and coordination skills
• Fluent English and good command of German
• Willingness to work on site in Kronstorf, Lower Austria 4-5 days a week

Aufgaben

• Contribute in focus areas: Building & Process Automation, Electrical and Mechanical Building Services or Construction Logistics, CSA Civil, Commissioning
• Managing and coordinating construction activities throughout all project phases
• Monitoring project schedules, costs, quality, and project performance
• Leading and coordinating internal project teams as well as contractors and subcontractors
• Ensuring efficient project execution and proactive risk management
• Supporting cost, change, and claim management processes
• Organizing and moderating construction and project meetings
• Preparing reports and decision-making documents for clients and stakeholders
• Representing the client’s interests on-site
• Supporting commissioning, inspections, testing, and handover activities
• Ensuring health, safety, and regulatory compliance
• Driving continuous improvement of construction processes and workflows
