Drees & Sommer Österreich is seeking a Construction Manager to lead a complex datacenter project from construction through commissioning on-site in Kronstorf, Lower Austria. You will work with clients, teams, contractors and stakeholders to ensure safety, schedule, budget and quality goals are met.

The role requires an engineering or related degree, several years of construction management experience, and fluent English with good German.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Building Services Engineering, Architecture, Process Engineering, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Several years of experience in construction management, site supervision, project management, or industrial construction projects.
• Experience working with multidisciplinary project teams and external contractors.
• Structured, proactive and solution-oriented working style.

Aufgaben

• Contribute in focus areas: Building & Process Automation, Electrical/Mechanical Building Services, or Construction Logistics, CSA Civil, Commissioning.
• Manage and coordinate construction activities through all project phases.
• Monitor schedules, costs, quality and project performance.
• Lead internal project teams as well as contractors and subcontractors.
• Ensure efficient execution and proactive risk management.
• Support cost, change and claim management processes.
• Organize and moderate construction and project meetings.
• Prepare reports and decision-making documents for clients and stakeholders.
• Represent the client on-site.
• Support commissioning, inspections, testing and handover.
• Ensure health, safety and regulatory compliance.
• Drive continuous improvement of construction processes and workflows.
