Grand Hotel Straubinger in Bad Gastein is seeking a Chef de Rang / Head Waiter. You will ensure service excellence across breakfast, lunch and dinner and work closely with the restaurant leadership to deliver an outstanding guest experience.

The role requires hotel/restaurant specialist training and several years of relevant experience, plus strong German and English language skills. We offer a rewarding, team‑oriented environment with extensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Completed training as a hotel or restaurant specialist.
• Several years of professional experience in a comparable position.
• Very good language skills in German and English.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with restaurant standards and guidelines.
• Work closely with the restaurant manager and head chef.
• Prepare for breakfast, lunch, and dinner service.
• Advise guests on food and drink selections.
• Develop restaurant promotions with F&B and restaurant managers.
• Maintain cleanliness and HAACP standards in the restaurant.

We are looking for you to join our international team in Bad Gastein as Chef de Rang / Head Waiter (m/f/d).

• Compliance with and monitoring of all specified standards and guidelines in the restaurant
• Close cooperation with the restaurant manager (m/f/d) and the head chef (m/f/d)
• Preparation for a smooth service process (breakfast / lunch / evening)
• Looking after and advising guests with regard to food and drink selection
• Developing and implementing restaurant promotions in cooperation with the F&B manager (m/f/d) and restaurant manager (m/f/d)
• Checking and ensuring cleanliness and hygiene standards (HAACP) in the restaurant
• Responsible for detailed training of new colleagues in the department

• The minimum gross monthly salary for this position under the collective agreement is EUR 2,368 (based on a 42.5-hour week). A higher salary is expressly provided for, depending on qualifications and professional experience.
