Job summary

Ardonagh Europe is seeking an experienced HR Manager for its Austrian business. The role covers day-to-day HR operations, payroll coordination, compliance with Austrian employment law, and strategic HR partnership across Europe.

You will partner with local leadership to drive HR initiatives, support recruitment, and contribute to HR transformation projects such as Dayforce implementations. Fluent German and English are required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience in a broad HR Generalist or HR Manager role, Austrian focus.
• Solid knowledge of Austrian employment law and HR compliance requirements.
• Fluent German and professional-level English.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily HR operations and responsibilities across the Austrian business.
• Manage payroll processes with external providers and ensure accuracy.
• Provide practical HR guidance to managers and handle employee relations cases.
• Support recruitment, onboarding and talent initiatives across Ardonagh Europe.
• Contribute to HR data reporting, system optimisations and projects (Dayforce).
