Job summary

Assepro Austria, part of Ardonagh Europe, is seeking an experienced HR Manager to lead the HR function in Austria, balancing hands-on delivery with strategic partnership.

You will manage payroll, contracts, compliance with Austrian employment law, employee relations, recruitment support, and drive HR systems and projects such as Dayforce across Europe. You will collaborate with teams across Europe to share best practices and elevate the employee experience.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience in a broad HR Generalist or HR Manager role
• Strong hands-on payroll management experience
• Solid knowledge of Austrian employment law and HR compliance requirements
• Proven experience managing employee relations cases independently
• Experience with HR systems, reporting and process improvement initiatives

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day management and continuous improvement of the HR function across Austria
• Payroll processing and liaison with external payroll providers
• Onboarding, offboarding and employee lifecycle administration
• Management of employment contracts, documentation and records
• HR policy, governance and process improvements; compliance with local law
