Vivant in Argentina is seeking an experienced Level 2 Tax & Accounting Support Specialist (remote) to provide specialized US accounting, tax, bookkeeping, and payroll support.

The role requires technical accounting judgment, the ability to investigate complex issues, and clear communication with customers via Zendesk and email, with shifts overlapping US business hours.

Candidates with CPA or EA are preferred; fluent English and strong analytical skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Professional accounting experience with US accounting and taxation exposure.
• Bookkeeping, tax return review, reconciliations, payroll, financial reporting.
• Experience handling complex tax and accounting inquiries, tax notices and customer-facing financial support.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to explain complex topics to non-technical customers.
• Adaptability to a fast-paced, tech-driven environment with evolving workflows.

Responsabilités

• Provide Level 2 support for complex US customer accounting, tax, bookkeeping, and payroll inquiries.
• Investigate and resolve escalated tickets; review and troubleshoot bookkeeping discrepancies, reconciliations, and transactions.
• Assist customers with tax inquiries, notices, and filing status questions within scope; support payroll questions and processing issues.
• Communicate findings via Zendesk, email, and scheduled phone support; document resolutions and maintain customer records.
• Identify recurring issues and opportunities to improve workflows and knowledge resources; adapt to new internal systems and AI-assisted workflows.
