Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Technical SEO Lead for a fully remote role serving a US-based higher education marketing agency portfolio. You will own technical SEO across client accounts, run audits, write dev-ready specs, and drive fixes to improve search visibility across standard and AI-powered search.

Two-track focus: hands-on technical SEO (crawls, data schemas, Core Web Vitals) and building Claude-based tools to automate audits, QA, and content production.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in SEO with at least 3 in technical SEO.
• Agency experience or managing multiple sites concurrently.
• Proven ability to write developer-ready specifications.
• Hands-on Claude AI tooling experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical SEO across client accounts.
• Run technical audits covering crawlability, indexation, site architecture, internal linking, Core Web Vitals, structured data, redirects, and broken links.
• Prioritize issues by impact and effort, and defend those calls.
• Write dev-ready specs for web developers and client teams, then follow through until fixes are released and verified.
• Handle light WordPress implementation: titles, meta descriptions, plugin redirects, and schema via Yoast/Rank Math.
• Monitor Google Search Console and GA4 to catch drops, errors, and indexing problems.
• Own technical readiness for AI search (AEO/GEO) including structured data and entity optimization.
• Build scalable systems for the SEO service and Claude-based tools and workflows.
