BlueTuskr is recruiting a Technical SEO Lead to drive technical SEO across a portfolio of higher education marketing partners. The role emphasizes audits, issue prioritization, and delivering developer-ready specs for fixes while also building Claude-based tools to automate audits and QA.

You will work remotely for a U.S.-based agency, collaborating with the SEO Lead and Executive Director of SEO to improve rankings, crawlability, and AI-ready content structures.

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years in SEO with at least 3 focused on technical SEO
• Track record of uncovering high‑impact issues and driving fixes
• Hands-on experience with Google Search Console, GA4, Screaming Frog, and Ahrefs/Semrush
• Strong WordPress knowledge: themes, plugins, redirects, schema
• Clear writing of developer specs and client-friendly recommendations

Aufgaben

• Lead technical SEO across client accounts
• Run audits covering crawlability, indexation, site architecture, internal linking, Core Web Vitals, structured data, redirects and broken links
• Prioritize issues by impact and defend decisions
• Write dev-ready specs and follow fixes through to verification
• Handle light WordPress implementation: titles, meta descriptions, redirects, schema
• Monitor Search Console and GA4 to catch drops and indexing problems
• Own technical readiness for AI search (AEO/GEO) and structured data
• Build scalable SEO systems and Claude-based tools for audits, reporting and QA
• Translate standards into reusable systems and train the team
• Integrate Search Console, GA4, crawl exports, and Ahrefs/Semrush into workflows
• Document systems, measure time saved or results improved
• Support team and client success as go-to technical resource
• Join client calls for deep topics with SEO Lead
• Evaluate emerging search technologies and recommend new tools
