Job summary

Accenture Plc is seeking a Technical SEO Lead for a fully remote role serving a US-based higher education marketing agency. You will lead technical SEO across client accounts, conduct comprehensive audits, and write developer-ready specs to drive fixes.

Qualifications

5+ years in SEO, with at least 3 focused on technical SEO.
Agency experience or across multiple sites at once is preferred.
Deep hands-on experience with Google Search Console, GA4, Screaming Frog, and Ahrefs or Semrush.
Strong working knowledge of WordPress: themes, plugins, redirects, and schema.

Responsibilities

Lead technical SEO across client accounts and prioritize issues by impact.
Write dev-ready specs for web developers and client teams; follow fixes to live and verify.
Handle light WordPress implementation: titles, meta descriptions, and schema via Yoast/Rank Math.
Build Claude-based tools, agents, and workflows for audits, reporting, and QA.
Design systems to scale the SEO service and document them for team use.
Join client calls on deep technical topics; explain complex issues clearly.
