Job summary

Accenture Plc is seeking a Technical SEO Lead for a fully remote role serving U.S.-based higher education marketing accounts. You will own technical SEO across client portfolios, perform audits, write developer-ready specs, and drive AI-powered workflows with Claude to reduce manual work.

You’ll collaborate with the SEO Lead and Executive Director of SEO, build scalable systems, and ensure measurable improvements in search visibility, content production, and QA processes for education clients.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in SEO, with at least 3 focused on technical SEO
• Experience across multiple sites or agencies
• Hands-on experience with Claude AI and AI-assisted workflows

Responsibilities

• Lead technical SEO across client accounts
• Run technical audits covering crawlability, indexation, site architecture, internal linking, Core Web Vitals, structured data, redirects, and broken links
• Prioritize issues by impact and effort
• Write dev-ready specs for web developers
• Handle light WordPress implementation: titles, meta descriptions, plugins, and schema
• Monitor Search Console and GA4 for drops and indexing problems
• Design and build Claude-based tools, agents, and workflows
• Build content production systems converting briefs into drafts
• Translate standards into reusable systems
• Connect GSC, GA4, crawl exports, Ahrefs/Semrush into workflows
• Document systems and train the team
• Support team and client success
• Join client calls on deep technical topics
• Evaluate emerging search technologies
