Job summary

Yo Ai Labs is seeking a Technical SEO Lead for a fully remote role serving US higher-education clients. You will drive technical SEO across multiple partner sites, write dev-ready specs, and build Claude-based tools to automate audits and reporting.

You\'ll collaborate with the SEO Lead and Executive Director of SEO, tackle AI-ready content structures, and scale the service with reusable systems and documented processes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in SEO with at least 3 focused on technical SEO.
• Track record of uncovering high-impact issues and fixing them.
• Hands-on experience with GSC, GA4, Screaming Frog, and Ahrefs/Semrush.
• Strong WordPress knowledge; ability to spec fixes precisely.
• Advanced Claude experience for AI-assisted workflows.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical SEO across client accounts.
• Run technical audits covering crawlability, indexation, site architecture, internal linking, Core Web Vitals, structured data, redirects, and broken links.
• Prioritize issues by impact and defend decisions.
• Write dev-ready specs for developers and clients, then ensure fixes are released and verified.
• Handle light WordPress implementation: titles, meta descriptions, plugin redirects, and schema using Yoast or Rank Math.
• Monitor Search Console and GA4 to catch drops, errors, and indexing problems early.
• Own technical readiness for AI search (AEO/GEO) including structured data and entity optimization.
• Build scalable SEO systems and Claude-based tools/workflows for audits, prioritization, reporting, and QA.
• Create content production systems turning briefs into near-publish-ready drafts.
• Document systems, train the team, and measure time saved or results improved.
• Support the team and client success; join client calls for deep technical topics.
• Evaluate emerging search technologies and recommend new tools and processes.
