Job summary

Atomic Hr is seeking an experienced SEO Lead to own strategy, execution, and optimization across multiple higher education partner accounts. This fully remote role focuses on technical and content SEO, improving organic growth, and leveraging AI-driven search innovations across the client portfolio.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in SEO with focus on technical SEO
• Track record of identifying and fixing high-impact issues
• Hands-on experience with SEO tools and analytics
• Strong WordPress knowledge for implementing fixes precisely
• Experience building AI-assisted workflows for SEO tasks
• Excellent written communication for specs and client-facing recommendations

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute SEO, AEO, and GEO strategies across multiple higher education partner accounts
• Build SEO roadmaps aligned with enrollment goals and business objectives
• Conduct keyword, topic, competitor, entity, and search intent research
• Lead technical SEO initiatives including site audits, crawl analysis, indexing, Core Web Vitals, structured data, and internal linking
• Collaborate with Web Development to implement technical SEO improvements
• Optimize content, landing pages, and hubs for search visibility and UX
• Identify content gaps to strengthen topical authority across the student journey
• Monitor rankings, organic traffic, and conversions to deliver actionable insights
• Own monthly SEO reporting and communicate strategic recommendations
• Stay current on algorithm updates and AI search advancements
• Evaluate emerging search technologies to improve workflows
• Contribute to SEO documentation and process improvements
