Job summary

WSP is seeking a Software Asset Management Specialist to join the regional LAC team and manage licensing across Latin America and international regions. The role requires hands-on SAM, licensing expertise, and collaboration with IT, Procurement, Finance, and engineering teams.

Advanced English and Spanish are required, with experience across multiple publishers and licensing models. The position supports continuous improvement of SAM processes in a high-volume environment.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in Software Asset Management, software licensing, or IT Asset Management with significant SAM responsibilities.
• Strong understanding of software licensing models, including node-locked, concurrent/floating, named-user and cloud/SaaS licenses.
• Experience managing a broad software portfolio across multiple publishers and licensing conditions.
• Practical experience with entitlements, renewals, license utilization, compliance, optimization and/or software audits.
• Ability to manage high volumes, prioritize time-sensitive requirements and adapt quickly between different publishers and requests.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and accuracy when interpreting licensing information.
• Advanced English and Spanish, with the ability to collaborate effectively with regional and global stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Manage software licensing requests across the full lifecycle, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
• Interpret licensing terms, metrics and entitlements across multiple publishers and licensing models.
• Maintain accurate software asset and entitlement records, including purchasing and licensing information.
• Coordinate renewals, assignments, reallocations and software optimization activities.
• Support license compliance, audits and reporting, identifying opportunities to improve software utilization and cost efficiency.
• Collaborate with IT, Procurement, Finance, Engineering teams and external vendors to resolve licensing needs and escalations.
• Manage competing priorities in a high-volume environment while contributing to continuous improvement of SAM processes.
