Job summary

WSP is seeking a Software Asset Management Specialist for the Regional LAC role. You will manage software licensing across a large portfolio, coordinate renewals, and collaborate with IT, Procurement, Finance and Engineering teams to ensure compliant and cost-efficient usage.

The role requires hands-on SAM experience, knowledge of licensing models, and strong English and Spanish communication, in a high-volume, multi-publisher environment.

Qualifications

• Hands-on SAM experience with software licensing and ITAM.
• Understanding of node-locked, concurrent/floating, named-user and cloud/SaaS licenses.
• Experience managing a broad software portfolio across multiple publishers.
• Experience with entitlements, renewals, license utilization, compliance, optimization and audits.
• Ability to handle high volumes and prioritize between publishers.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to licensing details.
• Advanced English and Spanish communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage software licensing requests across the full lifecycle with accuracy and timeliness.
• Interpret licensing terms, metrics and entitlements across publishers and models.
• Maintain accurate software asset and entitlement records, including purchasing info.
• Coordinate renewals, reallocations and optimization activities.
• Support license compliance, audits and cost optimization initiatives.
• Collaborate with IT, Procurement, Finance, Engineering and vendors to resolve licensing needs.
• Manage multiple priorities in a high-volume environment and drive process improvements.
