Darwoft seeks a Senior/Staff Software Engineer for an AI-native product platform focused on complex M&A and LegalTech workflows. You will work remotely across LATAM, shaping a large codebase with architectural decisions and AI-assisted tooling to accelerate delivery.

The role emphasizes production software, reliability, and maintainability, not ML model training, with ownership of critical systems and close collaboration with product leadership.

Formación

• Extensive experience building and operating production software systems.
• Strong fundamentals in architecture, system design, debugging, testing, and maintainability.
• Experience with large or complex existing codebases.
• Backend or full-stack development using modern languages/frameworks.
• Experience building modern web apps and SaaS products.
• Understanding of APIs, architecture, data modeling, and distributed systems.
• Experience with relational databases and production data environments.
• Familiarity with cloud environments, CI/CD, and production operations.
• Ability to make pragmatic architectural decisions and own outcomes.

Responsabilidades

• Navigate and evolve a large production codebase.
• Design and implement new capabilities across a SaaS platform.
• Make architectural decisions as the product scales.
• Identify technical debt and reliability issues.
• Leverage AI coding agents throughout development lifecycle.
• Build and evolve backend services, APIs, data models, workflows.
• Contribute across the stack and improve testing, observability, and production readiness.
• Improve tooling, automation, and engineering practices.
• Troubleshoot complex issues across layers.
• Balance speed with long-term maintainability.
• Collaborate with product leadership to translate problems into tech solutions.
• Help the team gain leverage through AI-assisted engineering.
