Darwoft in LATAM is seeking a Senior/Staff Software Engineer to join an AI-native platform focused on legaltech and M&A SaaS. This remote-first role offers a USD payment model and a contractor agreement.

You will contribute to a modern transaction platform built with AI-powered coding agents and large, complex codebases. You will own architectural decisions, design scalable backend services, and work closely with product leadership to drive velocity while ensuring reliability and quality.

Formación

• Production software experience with large, production-grade systems.
• Strong fundamentals in architecture, design, debugging, testing, and maintainability.
• Experience working with large or complex existing codebases.
• Backend or full-stack experience using modern languages and frameworks.
• Experience building modern web applications and SaaS products.
• Deep understanding of APIs, architecture, data modeling, integrations, and distributed systems.
• Experience with relational databases and production data environments.
• Familiarity with automated testing and modern dev practices.
• Experience with cloud environments, CI/CD, deployments, and production operations.
• Ability to own problems and drive pragmatic architectural decisions.

Responsabilidades

• Navigate and evolve a large production codebase.
• Design and implement new capabilities across a complex SaaS platform.
• Make architectural decisions as the product scales.
• Identify technical debt and reliability issues for improvement.
• Use Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, Copilot, and other AI agents throughout development.
• Leverage AI to explore code, design, generate/refactor code, and accelerate delivery.
• Build and evolve backend services, APIs, data models, and workflows.
• Contribute across the stack and improve testing, observability, and deployment readiness.
