Darwoft in LATAM offers a Senior/Staff Software Engineer role focused on AI-native development for a modern transaction platform in a fully remote setup. You will build production software, navigate a large codebase, and guide architectural decisions while leveraging AI coding agents to dramatically increase development velocity.

Formación

• Production software engineering fundamentals including architecture, debugging, testing, maintainability.
• Experience working with large/complex existing codebases.
• Strong backend or full-stack experience with modern languages/frameworks.
• Experience building modern web applications and SaaS products.
• Understanding of APIs, architecture, integrations, data modeling, distributed systems.
• Experience with relational databases and production data environments.
• Knowledge of automated testing and modern development practices.
• Familiarity with cloud environments, CI/CD, deployments, and production operations.
• Ability to reason about trade-offs and make pragmatic architectural decisions.

Responsabilidades

• Navigate and evolve a large production codebase.
• Design and implement new product capabilities across a complex SaaS platform.
• Make architectural decisions as the product scales.
• Identify debt, risks, and reliability improvements.
• Use AI coding agents (Claude Code, Codex, Copilot, etc.) extensively in development lifecycle.
• Leverage AI to explore codebases, design, generate/refactor code, and accelerate delivery.
• Build and evolve backend services, APIs, data models, and workflows.
• Contribute across the stack when needed to improve testing, observability, and production readiness.
• Improve development workflows, tooling, automation, and engineering practices.
• Troubleshoot cross-layer issues and balance speed with quality.
• Collaborate with product leadership to translate problems into technical solutions.
• Help the small team achieve greater leverage through AI-assisted engineering.
