Darwoft is seeking a Senior/Staff Software Engineer to join a remote-first AI-native platform in LATAM. You will work with Claude Code, Codex, and other AI agents to accelerate production software in a modern M&A/LegalTech SaaS product.

Responsibilities include navigating a large codebase, making architectural decisions, and driving reliability and velocity in a small, product-focused team. This is not a pure ML role but a leadership engineering position.

Formación

• Production systems experience.
• Strong fundamentals in architecture and design.
• Experience with large/complex codebases.
• Backend or full-stack with modern tools.
• Security and API/data modeling awareness.
• Distributed systems understanding.
• Relational DBs and production data environments.
• Automated testing and modern dev practices.

Responsabilidades

• Navigate, understand, and evolve a large production codebase.
• Design and implement new product capabilities across a complex SaaS platform.
• Make pragmatic architectural and system design decisions as the product scales.
• Identify technical debt, risks, reliability issues, and improvement opportunities.
• Use Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, Copilot, or similar AI agents extensively.
• Leverage AI to explore codebases, design, generate/refactor code, and test.
• Build and evolve backend services, APIs, data models, and workflows.
• Contribute across the stack when needed.
• Strengthen automated testing, observability, reliability, and production readiness.
• Improve workflows, tooling, automation, and engineering practices.
• Troubleshoot complex issues across app, data, and infra layers.
• Balance speed with quality and long-term maintainability.
• Collaborate with product leadership to translate problems into tech solutions.
• Help the team achieve greater leverage through AI-assisted engineering.
