Tether is hiring an Automation QA Engineer to own both manual and automated testing across desktop and mobile apps. You will build robust test automation, integrate tests into CI/CD, and drive quality through every release.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years in QA, strong Playwright/WebdriverIO/Appium experience, and comfort testing Electron/React Native apps on real devices. AI tools in QA are a plus for this role.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in QA automation with hands-on manual and exploratory testing.
• Experience running tests in CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions).
• Hands-on with Playwright for desktop/web and WebdriverIO + Appium for mobile.
• Experience testing Electron and/or React Native apps on real devices.
• Experience using AI tools in QA; testing AI-powered applications is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Build and maintain desktop and mobile test automation for critical user flows.
• Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines and keep them fast and reliable.
• Investigate failures, fix flaky tests, and manage test data and environments.
• Report clear, reproducible bugs and verify fixes.
• Work with developers and product on testability and acceptance criteria.
• Perform hands-on functional, exploratory, and regression testing of new features.
• Choose manual or automated coverage based on risk; maintain regression suites.
