Job summary

Tether is seeking an Automation QA Engineer to own automation for desktop and mobile apps, combining rigorous manual testing with robust automated suites. You will build, maintain, and scale tests across Electron/React Native environments, integrate them into GitHub Actions, and work closely with developers to improve testability.

You should have 4+ years in QA automation, experience with Playwright and WebdriverIO/Appium, and a keen eye for AI-assisted testing.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in QA automation with hands-on manual and exploratory testing.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain desktop and mobile test automation for critical user flows.
• Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines and keep them fast and reliable.
• Investigate failures, fix flaky tests, and manage test data and environments
• Report clear, reproducible bugs and verify fixes
• Work with developers and product on testability and acceptance criteria
• Perform hands-on functional, exploratory, and regression testing of new features
• Choose manual or automated coverage based on risk; maintain regression suites.
