Job summary

Tether is seeking an Automation QA Engineer to strengthen desktop and mobile testing efforts across our fintech platforms. You will own test automation, contribute to manual testing, and ensure quality in CI/CD workflows.

Proficiency with Playwright, WebdriverIO, Appium, and Electron/React Native apps is required, along with experience in AI-assisted QA workflows. This role is remote, global in scope, and offers a fast-paced fintech impact.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in QA automation with hands-on manual and exploratory testing.
• Experience running tests in CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions).
• Experience testing Electron and React Native apps on real devices.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain desktop and mobile test automation for critical user flows.
• Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines and keep them fast and reliable.
• Investigate failures, fix flaky tests, and manage test data and environments
• Report clear, reproducible bugs and verify fixes
• Work with developers and product on testability and acceptance criteria
• Perform hands-on functional, exploratory, and regression testing of new features
• Choose manual or automated coverage based on risk; maintain regression suites.
