Job summary

Tether is seeking an Automation QA Engineer to lead desktop and mobile testing across our global platform. You will own test automation, participate in exploratory testing, and ensure robust release quality for our fintech products.

Ideal candidates bring 4+ years in QA automation, strong hands-on testing, and experience with Playwright, WebdriverIO, and Appium in CI/CD pipelines. Fluency in English and proactive collaboration are required.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in QA automation with hands-on manual testing.
• Experience running tests in CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions).
• Proven skills using Playwright, WebdriverIO, and Appium.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain desktop and mobile test automation for critical user flows.
• Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines and keep them fast and reliable.
• Investigate failures, fix flaky tests, and manage test data and environments
• Report clear, reproducible bugs and verify fixes
• Work with developers and product on testability and acceptance criteria
• Perform hands‑on functional, exploratory, and regression testing of new features
• Choose manual or automated coverage based on risk; maintain regression suites.
