Tether is seeking an Automation QA Engineer to own both automation and manual testing for desktop and mobile apps. You will integrate tests into CI/CD, investigate failures, and collaborate with developers and product teams to ensure robust quality across features and releases.

The role emphasizes hands-on testing, risk-based coverage decisions, and leveraging AI tools to enhance quality. This position offers flextime with remote and office options and a USD-based compensation package.

Formación

• 4+ years in QA automation, plus hands-on manual and exploratory testing experience.
• Experience running tests in CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions).
• Hands-on experience with Playwright for desktop or web, and WebdriverIO + Appium for mobile.
• Experience testing Electron and/or React Native apps, including on real iOS and Android devices.
• Experience using AI tools in QA and critically reviewing their output.

Responsabilidades

• Build and maintain desktop and mobile test automation for critical user flows.
• Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines and keep them fast and reliable.
• Investigate failures, fix flaky tests, and manage test data and environments.
• Report clear, reproducible bugs and verify fixes.
• Work with developers and product on testability and acceptance criteria.
• Perform hands-on functional, exploratory, and regression testing of new features.
• Choose manual or automated coverage based on risk; maintain regression suites.
