AgileEngine is a leading software engineering firm delivering solutions for Fortune 500 brands and startups worldwide. We are seeking an Automation QA Engineer who will own both manual and automated testing across desktop and mobile apps, building robust regression suites and integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines.

You will work with Playwright, WebDriverIO, Appium, and AI-assisted QA tools, contributing to high-quality releases while collaborating with product and customer teams to refine test

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in a software quality assurance role.
• 3+ years of experience in automated testing.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Mindset focused on holistic quality.
• Experience writing and working with Gherkin for behavior-driven development.
• Experience with prompt engineering and harness engineering.
• Experience building Agentic skills focused on Quality Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Build regression automation scripts that support app functionality.
• Manually test software for validation and accuracy.
• Execute smoke, regression, integration, performance and other testing types.
• Record detailed documentation of feature behavior.
• Record pass/fails conditions of tests and correlate failures to bug identification.
• Identify and elevate any risk to quality of the product or the process.
• Collaborate with the product team to ensure quality throughout the SDLC and product release cycles.
• Collaborate with customer-facing teams to incorporate user feedback in the testing strategy.
• Participate in refinement and estimations of effort to promote accurate planning.
• Utilize GitHub to maintain automation repositories, run custom scripts, and facilitate automated quality practices.
• Participate in On-Call rotation.
