AgileEngine is seeking a Backend Developer to design, build, and maintain scalable systems using Java and/or Kotlin, with Spring Boot, GraphQL, MongoDB Atlas, and Aurora MySQL on AWS. You’ll handle compliance, observability, cost-savings, and tooling, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver robust services.

Competenze

• 3+ years of professional backend development experience
• Proficiency in Java and/or Kotlin
• Proficiency in MongoDB Atlas
• Proficiency in Aurora MySQL on AWS
• Experience building cloud-native distributed systems on AWS
• Experience with Spring Boot
• API development with GraphQL (Netflix DGS)
• Experience building large-scale, resilient systems on a major cloud platform

• Take on lower-priority engineering work including compliance and maintenance
• Design, build, and maintain scalable, performant systems
• Contribute to system architecture and design, validate with data
• Participate in code reviews and design reviews
