AgileEngine, LLC. is seeking a Backend Developer to design, build, and maintain scalable systems for a Product-led engineering team. You will work with Java and/or Kotlin, Spring Boot, GraphQL, MongoDB Atlas, and Aurora MySQL on AWS to support operations, tooling, and architecture.

Responsibilities include compliance and cost-savings work, code reviews, and collaboration with cross-functional teams. The role emphasizes scalable cloud-native systems and observability.

Formación

• 3+ years of backend-focused software development experience.
• Proficiency in Java and/or Kotlin.
• Experience with MongoDB on Atlas.
• Experience with Aurora MySQL on AWS.
• Experience building cloud-native distributed systems on AWS.
• Experience with Spring Boot.
• API development with GraphQL (Netflix DGS).
• Experience building and operating large-scale systems on a major cloud platform.

Responsabilidades

• Design, build, and maintain scalable, performant software systems.
• Take on lower-priority engineering work including compliance, cost-savings, observability, and tooling.
• Contribute to system architecture and design with data-driven validation.
