AgileEngine, LLC. is seeking a Backend Developer to design, build, and maintain scalable systems for a product-led engineering team. This role uses Java and/or Kotlin with Spring Boot, GraphQL, MongoDB Atlas, and Aurora MySQL on AWS, addressing operational tooling and architecture tasks.

You will collaborate cross-functionally, participate in code/design reviews, and contribute to observability, cost-savings, and compliance efforts while delivering reliable cloud-native software at scale.

Formación

• 3+ years of backend-focused software development experience.
• Proficiency in Java and/or Kotlin.
• Proficiency in MongoDB Atlas.
• Proficiency in Aurora MySQL on AWS.
• Experience building cloud-native distributed systems on AWS.
• Experience with Spring Boot.
• API development with GraphQL (Netflix DGS).
• Experience building and operating large-scale, high-performance systems on a major cloud platform.

Responsabilidades

• Design, build, and maintain scalable, performant, and reliable software systems.
• Take on lower-priority engineering work such as compliance, cost-savings, observability, and tool development.
• Contribute to system architecture and design, validating solutions with data and experimentation.
• Participate in code reviews and design reviews to maintain high engineering standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners including engineers, product managers, data scientists, and designers.
• Work with Product Manager and fellow engineers to clarify requirements and focus on coding, testing, and documentation.
