AgileEngine, LLC. is seeking a Backend Developer to design, build, and maintain scalable systems for a product-led engineering team.

You will work with Java and/or Kotlin, Spring Boot, GraphQL, MongoDB Atlas, and Aurora MySQL on AWS. You will tackle compliance-focused maintenance, cost-savings, observability, and mid-level design work, collaborating with software engineers, product managers, data scientists, and designers.

Formación

• 3+ years of backend-focused software development experience.
• Proficiency in Java and/or Kotlin.
• Proficiency with MongoDB Atlas and Aurora MySQL on AWS.
• Experience building cloud-native distributed systems on AWS.
• Familiarity with Spring Boot and GraphQL.

Responsabilidades

• Take on lower-priority engineering work for compliance, maintenance, cost-savings, observability, and tooling.
• Design, build, and maintain scalable, performant software systems.
• Contribute to system architecture and validate solutions with data and experiments.
• Participate in code and design reviews to uphold standards.
• Collaborate with engineers, product managers, data scientists, and designers.
• Partner with a Product Manager and engineers to clarify requirements and focus on coding, testing, and documentation.
