Proofpoint is seeking a software engineer to build and operate a threat-intelligence platform. You will own AWS-backed tooling, APIs, integrations, and the web front-end used by analysts.

Candidates should have 2-5 years of production experience, strong Python and JavaScript skills, React/Node.js, PostgreSQL, AWS know-how, plus Docker and Terraform. You will work across backend, frontend, and data pipelines to deliver scalable, secure software.

Formación

• 2-5 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Hands-on AWS administration (EC2, Lambda, storage, networking, monitoring).
• API development and integration experience; AWS API Gateway preferred.
• Front-end development with React and Node.js, Fuse acceptable.
• Proficiency in Python.
• SQL/relational database experience (PostgreSQL).
• Ability to learn new systems quickly and work independently across full stack.

Responsabilidades

• Administer and troubleshoot the team's AWS environment (EC2, Lambda, storage, networking, monitoring, pipelines).
• Design and build APIs and integrations (AWS API Gateway) connecting internal threat-intel platforms and third-party feeds.
• Develop and deploy web front-ends for analysts (React/Node.js, Fuse) including dashboards and detectors.
• Maintain and enhance the CMS-based portal, databases (PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch) and micro-frontend (Fuse/React).
• Write Python services (FastAPI) for data processing, reports and workflow automation.
• Model and query data across PostgreSQL and Elasticsearch; support content workflows.
• Collaborate with analysts to automate repetitive tasks; deliver maintainable products.
• Ensure security, observability, and documentation; own reliability and QA.
