DEPT® is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to drive a large-scale platform re-architecture for a leading financial intelligence client. You will own end-to-end workstreams across frontend (React, TypeScript) and backend (Node.js) while maintaining parity with the legacy system during a cloud-native migration.

You’ll influence architectural decisions, optimize data flows in PostgreSQL, and help phase out Solr as we shift from MS SQL Server.

Formación

• 5+ years of production software experience.
• Strong full-stack capability across modern frontend (React, TypeScript) and backend (Node.js).
• Relational database experience with PostgreSQL; SQL Server background useful.
• Ability to navigate legacy and modern stacks in parallel.
• Architectural mindset – systems thinking beyond features.
• Experience with AWS serverless patterns (Lambda).
• Proficiency with GenAI coding tools in daily workflow.

Responsabilidades

• Own and deliver workstreams across the full stack as migration progresses.
• Contribute to architectural decisions on the new platform (re-architecture, not a rewrite).
• Support legacy platform parity while building the new stack.
• Work across portfolios, alerts, ratings tools, and sector apps.
• Migrate from MS SQL Server to PostgreSQL and deprecate Solr.
• Translate requirements into clear tasks through technical design discussions.
• Surface blockers and dependencies early to protect delivery quality.
• Contribute to code reviews and knowledge sharing.
