Job summary

Syneos Health is seeking a Director, Strategy & Planning for Real World Late Phase/Real World Evidence. You will own pre-award strategy, lead bids, and transition strategy to delivery while overseeing portfolio performance.

You’ll drive strategic discussions with senior clients and align cross-functional teams to optimize commercial outcomes. International collaboration and training are integral to the role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in life sciences or related field required. Advanced degree preferred.
• 10–12 years total experience with RWLP/RWE and related study experience.
• Experience presenting to senior stakeholders and leading complex bids.

Responsibilities

• Own pre-award strategy and commercial leadership for RWLP accounts.
• Lead bid defense meetings, define service model, budget, and vendor strategy.
• Ensure smooth transition from pre-award to delivery with clear handoffs.
• Maintain strategic oversight of portfolio performance and governance.
• Guide study conduct with strategic risk assessment and integrated solutions.
• Influence cross-functional teams and manage vendor/partner engagements.
• Support account growth and new partnership opportunities.
