Job summary

AgileEngine is seeking a DevOps Engineer to build and run cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, and observability for Data and AI teams in a PCI‑compliant environment. You will design and operate pipelines, manage Kubernetes clusters, and implement telemetry and security controls.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of DevOps, SRE, or platform engineering experience operating production services.
• 3+ years building CI/CD pipelines and managing infrastructure as code (Terraform, Pulumi, CloudFormation).
• Experience with Kubernetes and container tooling (Docker, Helm, ArgoCD, Flux).
• Scripting in Python, Bash, or Go; solid SQL; cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Observability stacks: New Relic, Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, ELK, Datadog.
• Security/compliance in PCI-aware environments.
• Strong communication and ability to work across time zones.

Responsibilities

• Strategy, Roadmap & Vision – build DevOps/observability roadmap for Data & AI teams.
• Design and implement cloud infrastructure as code with Terraform/Pulumi/CloudFormation.
• Own CI/CD pipelines in GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab CI; include tests, security scans, canaries, and rollbacks.
• Operate Kubernetes clusters with Helm/ArgoCD; manage autoscaling, ingress, secrets, and policy.
• Build observability with Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, ELK, or Datadog.
• Implement security controls: IAM, SSO, secrets management, vulnerability scanning, policy-as-code.
• Lead incident response, on-call rotations, post-mortems, and reliability improvements.
• Collaborate with developers on local dev experience and internal tooling.
• Shape internal platform standards and share knowledge across teams in multiple regions.
• Participate in a collaborative DevOps environment with cross-functional partners.
