Proofpoint is seeking a Senior DevOps and Data Engineer to join our Data Platform team in a hybrid role. You will own reliability, automation, and delivery of data pipelines and analytics capabilities, building cloud infrastructure (AWS-first), CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps tooling to accelerate data engineering.

You will work with AWS Glue, Athena, S3, and MWAA to design scalable workflows, implement observability, and harden security.

Formación

• 5+ years of professional experience in DevOps, platform engineering, or SRE, with data engineering exposure.
• Deep AWS expertise: S3, IAM, VPC, CloudWatch, Lambda, ECS/EKS, Secrets Manager, and CloudFormation/CDK.
• Hands-on with AWS data services: Glue, Athena, S3 lifecycle and encryption.
• IaC experience with Terraform and/or AWS CDK.
• Strong CI/CD expertise across GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI.

Responsabilidades

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for AWS Glue ETL jobs and related data infra.
• Build and manage AWS cloud infrastructure using Terraform and/or CDK.
• Own observability: metrics, logs, alerts to ensure SLA and fast incident response.
• Develop and maintain DataOps self-service tooling and templates.
• Lead incident response for data platform outages and mentor engineers.
