Proofpoint is seeking a Senior DevOps and Data Engineer to join our Data Platform team in a hybrid role. You will own the reliability, automation, and delivery of systems powering data pipelines and analytics, building and maintaining cloud infrastructure (AWS-first) and CI/CD tooling to enable data engineers to ship high-quality data products quickly.

You will design data pipelines with Glue, Athena, and S3, while contributing to security, monitoring, and operational excellence.

Formación

• 5+ years in DevOps, platform engineering or SRE with data engineering experience.
• Deep expertise with AWS core services (S3, IAM, VPC, etc.).
• Experience with IaC tools Terraform or CDK and CI/CD pipelines.

Responsabilidades

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for AWS Glue ETL jobs.
• Build and manage AWS-based infrastructure using Terraform or CDK.
• Own observability for data pipelines with metrics, logs, and alerts.
• Develop DataOps self-service tooling and reusable templates.
• Manage container infrastructure (Docker, ECS/EKS, Lambda).
• Lead incident response and post-mortems for data platform outages.
• Mentor junior engineers in DevOps and data practices.
