Proofpoint is seeking a Senior DevOps and Data Engineer to join our Data Platform team in a hybrid role. You will own the reliability, automation, and delivery of data pipelines and analytics infrastructure on AWS, building CI/CD for Glue ETL jobs, managing Terraform/CDK-based resources, and improving observability across data products.

You will collaborate with data engineers, scientists, and security teams to scale production-grade pipelines, implement best-practice security, and mentor junior

Competenze

• 5+ years of DevOps/platform engineering or SRE experience, with data engineering exposure.
• Strong knowledge of AWS core services (S3, IAM, VPC, CloudWatch, Lambda, ECS/EKS).
• Experience with IaC tools (Terraform and/or CDK) and CI/CD systems.

Mansioni

• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines for AWS Glue ETL jobs and data pipelines.
• Build and manage AWS infrastructure using IaC (Terraform / CDK).
• Own observability stack for data pipelines with metrics, logs, and alerts.
• Develop self-service DataOps tooling and reusable templates.
• Lead incident response for data platform outages and drive post-mortems.
