Proofpoint is seeking a Senior DevOps and Data Engineer to join our Data Platform team in a hybrid role that spans data infrastructure and platform engineering. You will own reliability, automation, and delivery of data pipelines and analytics capabilities on AWS, building CI/CD pipelines and IaC to support data engineering teams.

You will design and operate data pipelines with AWS Glue, Athena, and S3, while ensuring security, observability, and scalable pipelines.

Formación

• 5+ years of professional experience in DevOps, platform engineering, or site reliability engineering, with at least 2 years of hands-on data engineering work.

Responsabilidades

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for AWS Glue ETL jobs and related data infrastructure.
• Build and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS using IaC (Terraform and/or AWS CDK).
• Own the observability stack for data pipelines (metrics, logs, alerts).
• Develop and maintain the DataOps platform self-service tooling and templates.
• Lead incident response for data platform outages and mentor junior engineers.
