Coderio is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to design, build, and optimize scalable data platforms for high-volume financial data. You will implement end-to-end data pipelines and lakehouse architectures using Spark, PySpark, Delta Lake, and AWS data services.

You will collaborate with Data Scientists and Software Engineers to translate business needs into robust data solutions, establish data quality frameworks, and drive DataOps practices.

Formación

• 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Big Data, or related software engineering roles with production-grade data systems.
• Strong proficiency in Python and SQL for complex data processing and development; Scala/Java a plus.
• Hands‑on experience with Apache Spark/PySpark, Delta Lake, and modern lakehouse architectures including Data Mesh principles.
• Strong expertise in AWS data services (S3, Glue, Athena, EventBridge, Firehose, Lambda).
• Experience with data orchestration and warehousing technologies (Airflow, Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery).
• Experience designing real-time streaming architectures using Kafka or Kinesis; familiarity with dbt for data transformation.
• Knowledge of DevOps/DataOps practices (Git, Docker, CI/CD, IaC); cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP.
• Advanced English proficiency required for technical and non-technical communication.

Responsabilidades

• Design, build, and maintain high-throughput batch and streaming data pipelines for financial transactions.
• Design and optimize cloud data warehouse and lakehouse architectures to scale with massive data volumes.
• Collaborate with Data Scientists, Software Engineers, and Product Managers to translate requirements into scalable data solutions.
• Implement data quality frameworks, automated testing, monitoring, and alerting for data reliability and SLA compliance.
• Promote DataOps practices, including CI/CD, workflow automation, and IaC for data systems.
• Champion data governance, privacy, and security standards across data storage and compute layers.
