Job summary

Darwoft seeks a Senior Data Engineer focused on data ingestion, connectors, and integrations for a cybersecurity-focused platform. You will collaborate with enterprise customers to design scalable ingestion pipelines and provide technical leadership across cloud environments.

The role combines data and software engineering, solution architecture, and customer-facing consulting to deliver reliable, scalable data integrations in a fully remote LATAM setting.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional Software/Data/Platform Engineering experience.
• Strong coding in Python and Go.
• Experience designing and consuming REST APIs.
• Experience building data ingestion pipelines and integration platforms.
• Cloud experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Docker and Kubernetes proficiency.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Ability to translate customer requirements into technical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain production-grade data collectors and ingestion services.
• Integrate data sources including identity providers, cloud platforms, and security systems.
• Work with customers to understand environments, data flows, and APIs.
• Participate in onboarding from discovery to deployment.
• Design scalable ingestion architectures for high-volume data like events and logs.
• Build integrations using REST APIs, cloud-native services, and event-driven patterns.
• Develop backend services with Python and/or Go.
• Operate containerized services with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Deploy solutions across AWS, Azure, and GCP environments.
• Troubleshoot complex deployments across application, network, and data layers.
• Collaborate with architects, sales engineering, and product teams.
